When a reservation is placed, the guest accepts all financial responsibility for the entirety of the reservation. In the event of a cancellation, any unpaid balances will be charged upon notification. A return of your deposit is solely based on our ability to re-rent your unit or units for the duration of your reservation less a $100 re-booking fee.
When using the online system, you can check as many rates, dates and accomodation combinations as you like — nothing is "booked" until you submit your credit card information and hit confirm, so plan away.
* We give our year to year loyal guests the first opportunity to re-book their stay for the following year. Simply book your stay before you leave and your spot will be reserved for the following year. If you do not book for the following year before you leave, those dates will become available for new customers.*
Summer Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday.

A $25 fee per guest per night will be applied towards your stay for exceeding the rated occupancy of your room or cabin. See cabin/room descriptions. All guests must register at the front desk.
Children of all ages count as guest's including babies.
We no longer allow visitors on the property of Viking Bay Resort & Lodge. Guest's are restricted to the members that they have registered at the time of booking and must not exceed their rated occupancy. We take pride in being a quiet family friendly resort.
All cabins and lodge suites are considered housekeeping units. Guests are responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning dishes, and emptying their trash and recycling in the proper receptacles. Units needing excessive cleaning will be subject to an additional clean up fee at our discretion.
Pets are not allowed at Viking Bay Resort & Lodge. There are several options for pet boarding in Alexandria.
Week stays require a 50% deposit. All other stays must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Bookings for the following year- After a $100 deposit is made per room/cabin we will automatically process the following payments- 30% of your stay will be due by November 1st and then another 30% by February 1st.
We require short stays in our lodge, cabins, and vacation homes to begin or end on a Saturday starting the second week in June through the second week in August.
